1. Group Membership

Any Organized Dog Club, Kennel Club or Dog Training Organization may apply for membership to Canine Water Sports to become entitled to membership privileges, which include

Class 1 type Membership status for Kennel Clubs and Dog Training Organizations
Eligibility to apply to host a Water Sports Event.
A copy of the Canine Water Sports Regulation Manual. (New Members Only)
Updates on Regulations, revisions, and general water sports information.
Notices on dates and locations of Canine Water Sports Events.
Notices on dates and locations of Splash Training Camps and Workshops.

Discounted prices on Canine Water Sports merchandise.

Club/Organization officers and representatives shall agree to uphold the Regulations set forth in the Canine Water Sports Regulations Manual.

Membership privileges may be suspended or terminated by Canine Water Sports if a Club or Organization or a registered representative for the Club or Organization:

Fails to renew and/or pay yearly dues before January 31st.
Is found, by Canine Water Sports, to be in violation of Canine Water Sports Regulations
Is found, by Canine Water Sports, to be guilty of misconduct prejudicial to the interests of Canine Water Sports or dog sports in general.

Privileges suspended for violation of CWS Regulations or for misconduct shall be reinstated after the terms of the suspension have been completed.

Any Club or Organization whose privileges have been terminated for failure to renew may complete an application for New Membership to be reconsidered for membership.

Member Clubs/Organizations whose privileges have been terminated for violation of CWS Regulations or for misconduct may reapply for membership after three years from the date of termination.

Membership applications are available upon request through Canine Water Sports.  Canine Water Sports reserves the right to refuse any application for membership and shall not be obligated to state a reason for such refusal.

2. Individual Membership

Any person 18 years old or older may apply to Canine Water Sports for membership to become eligible for membership privileges, which include  Class 2 type membership status for Individuals

Discounts on enrollment for Splash Camps and Workshops.

Membership privileges may be suspended or terminated by Canine Water Sports if the member

Fails to renew and/or pay yearly dues before January 31st.
Is found, by Canine Water Sports, to be in violation of Canine Water Sports Regulations
Is found guilty of misconduct prejudicial to the interests of Canine Water Sports or dog sports in general

3.Dues & Fees

Renewal Membership Dues shall be paid on or before January 1st of each year.

Dues accompanying a New Membership application dated on or after September 1st shall be applied toward the following year’s dues.

Reminder notices shall be sent to each member during the month of November.

Dues and fees are subject to change. Any change shall be set no later than October 1st to become effective for the following year. Check revision dates on Membership Application and Canine Registration forms.

Checks or money orders made out to Canine Water Sports are payable in U.S. funds only.
